With several nights of killing frost it is now time to put the farm to bed. Hopefully we can get on top of building some cold frames and try to grow through the winter. Thanks to Carol Festa whose brother owns a garlic farm in Massachusetts for the planting garlic we will enjoy next spring. The cloves went in the ground this morning.
"I know nothing so pleasant to the mind, as the discovery of anything that is at once new and valuable-nothing so lightens and sweetens toil as the hopeful pursuit of such discovery. And how vast, and how varied a field is agriculture for such discovery." -Abraham Lincoln
